Harbour City marks 50 years
Asia’s first-ever mall – and the largest in Hong Kong – is collaborating with the cultural icon as a follow-up to a collaboration in 2007.
For Hong Kong’s largest-ever fashion-art group exhibition, Harbour City has invited 37 international fashion brands to contribute to Style Up [email protected] at Harbour City, from September 19 to October 16.
With the theme of fashion and contemporary art, 37 versions of the 2000 per cent enlarged [email protected] (about 1.4m tall) are being “styled up” by each brand. After the exhibition, the 37 original figures, priced at HK$68,000 (US$8765) will go into a global charity sale in October, with net proceeds going toward the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.
The participating fashion brands are Agnes B, Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet, Anteprima, Atsuro Tayama, Blumarine, Carven, Christopher Kane, Coach, Diane Von Furstenberg, Diesel, Dunhill, Emilio Pucci, Emporio Armani, Etro, IT, J.Crew, Kate Spade New York, Kenzo, Lane Crawford x Ms Min, Lanvin, Maje, Max Mara, MCM, MCQ, Moncler, Paul & Shark, Philipp Plein, Rebecca Minkoff, Repetto, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sandro, Thom Browne, Tory Burch, Tsumori Chisato, Vivienne Tam and Vivienne Westwood.
Some of the participating brands will also showcase their special [email protected] in-store displays at their Harbour City outlets, including Emporio Armani, Lanvin and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Along with the exhibition a special limited-edition series of Style Up [email protected] collectibles will be available including exhibition booklets, posters and postcards as well as two iPhone cases. Net proceeds will go toward the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.
Emporio Armani and Max Mara have also produced a limited-edition [email protected] tote bag for redemption upon designated spending during the exhibition period.
Gallery by The Harbour is also holding a [email protected] 15th Anniversary Collectable Exhibition showcasing special-edition figures from the past 15 years.
