Ikea Hong Kong to open fourth store
Ikea Hong Kong says it is planning its fourth store, in Tsuen Wan late next year.
It will be at the 8½ shopping mall in the CDW building, accessible via an air-conditioned footbridge from Tsuen Wan MTR station.
As well as a showroom and children’s playroom, the home-furnishing store will offer restaurant dining and a Swedish food market. Ikea says it will hire 200 employees for the new store.
Ikea Hong Kong GM Patrik Lindvall says Hong Kong people have been great supporters of the brand for more than 40 years.
