T Mark jewellery brand introduces traceable diamonds

Hong Kong jeweller Chow Tai Fook has launched its T Mark jewellery brand which enables customers to track diamonds to their source.

Each diamond in the collection is engraved with its own serial number, so its journey from origin to production can be traced, says Chow Tai Fook.

It is rolling out the collection this month to about 200 stores in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China, says a spokesperson.

Chow Tai Fook unveiled its “4Ts” standard last year to strengthen its brand, marketing “traceable, transparent, truthful and thoughtful” diamonds. The T Mark, which is part of this initiative, will be inscribed on most of the company’s stones, starting from 0.15 carats, K colour and SI clarity.
