Featured store: Dunhill London’s new Beijing concept
A fresh store concept has been introduced by British luxury goods brand Dunhill London for its new store in Shin Kong Place, Beijing.
Its design aims to build an engaging visual conversation, says brand owner Richemont Asia Pacific. The store features an open and clean space to showcase the luxury menswear in an “understated, relevant and approachable” way.
Engineering and craftsmanship combine to create a masculine contemporary space through the interplay of walnut woods, marble and brass, together with signature leather details and tailoring fabrics.
References from the original Duke Street store in London’s Piccadilly are updated for the facade, with bevel-edged lattice glass details. Display cabinets recall iconic Dunhill metalwork designs from lighters and accessories.
Richemont says a unified approach to service and customer experience seamlessly combines the concept with Dunhill.com. The store features digital developments and personalised enhancements such as click to chat, click from store, and pre-order.
Founded in London in 1893 by Alfred Dunhill, Dunhill London has more than 90 stores in 16 countries including such cities as Osaka and Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
