The Drunken Pot introduces home deliveries
Hot-pot specialist The Drunken Pot has launched a home-delivery service using eco-friendly “picnic box” packaging.
Since opening in 2015 and 2016 respectively, the sister restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay have brought a fresh approach to Hong Kong’s hot-pot tradition with premium, healthy ingredients and innovative recipes. Now the menu is online for home parties and catering for events including boat trips, corporate lunches, club gatherings and school celebrations.
Both the meat and seafood options, with four different soup bases, are offered at a discount to restaurant prices. The service caters for between four and 10 diners.
“No preparation is needed – just sit back and wait for your delivery,” says The Drunken Pot founder Vivien Shek.
Delivered in recyclable packaging, the hot pots are delivered complete with utensils, reusable tablecloth and glasses, wet tissues and free rental of the pot and gas cooker. There are also eight complimentary condiments and signature sauces.
More than 40 other food and wine items can also be ordered on the website.
The Drunken Pot references the brand’s hot-pot sake “bombs’” as well as its signature house sake.
