Habbitzz goes live online, with apps as well

Hong Kong’s new premium e-commerce platform Habbitzz – posited as the Amazon of Hong Kong without low-end products – is now live with the goal of having 100,000 products and services available within a year.

A broader O2O strategy is expected to be in the works by 2019 or 2020.

MD of brand operator PCCW Solutions, Ramez Younan, said Habbitzz has been designed with a customer-centric approach to meet the individual interests of online shoppers.

“With the aid of innovative technology, we aim to deliver superior customer service to enhance their personalised shopping experience, anywhere and anytime.”

Product ranges on offer include beauty items, electronics, health and wellness, toys, kids and babies, beverages, and sports. The platform offers weekly deals, four-hour express delivery, free shipping, and “hassle-free” seven-day returns under certain conditions. New members are awarded free shipping on their first purchase.

PCCW has said the Habbitzz brand name serves to encourage Hong Kong consumers to move beyond their more traditional habits of shopping. Dedicated apps are available for iOs and Android smartphones.
