JD’s Toplife to host pop up for Christian Louboutin in China

Fashion brand Christian Louboutin in China has partnered with JD to set up an online pop-up store hosted on its luxury e-flagship platform, Toplife.

The move constitutes the brand’s first e-commerce platform in China.

Christian Louboutin COO & GM Alexis Mourot said JD’s Toplife offers a rich and relevant platform to express Christian’s vision and creativity and develop a strong storytelling around his collections.

To facilitate the success of the pop-up, JD is providing a full range of services, including marketing, logistics and customer service support. This includes the company’s white-glove delivery service JD Luxury Express, where professionally-dressed couriers drive electric cars to hand-deliver purchases to consumers’ homes.

The launch of the pop-up store for Christian Louboutin in China plays into JD’s ‘Retail as a Service’ vision, which it has used to help many brands make their China e-commerce debut. In addition to Fendi, JD has also welcomed Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Oscar de la Renta and Kiton to Toplife, with more top international luxury brands expected to come online in the near future.
