K-Beauty concept Pony Effect opens at MetroPlaza
Pony Effect, the South Korean cosmetics brand owned by Memebox, opened a new pop-up store in MetroPlaza in mid-September, as it continues to boost sales and brand awareness in Hong Kong.
Memebox, a Silicon-Valley-based beauty-tech startup, is reporting rapid regional expansion for the concept as it cashes in on the growing popularity of South Korean cosmetics.
Located on MetroPlaza’s second floor, the pop-up store aims to “transform office ladies and millennial brand lovers into customers”.
The company launched with its Hong Kong flagship store in Pak Sha Road in Causeway Bay.
Pony Effect now plans to relocate and redesign its outlet inside the Ocean Terminal Facesss store with a fresh new look, expecting to open mid next month.
